My name is Lauri Dansereau. I am an artist. i graduated from Syracuse University in 1997 with a BFA in fine arts., the same week i graduated i moved here to north carolina after being offered a position as an associate artist at the ARTWORKS gallery that used to be across from charlotte motor speedway. I was lucky enough to have two pieces published - "BLUE THUNDER" with Rusty Wallace and Kyle Petty's Charity Ride Poster in 1998....BUT sometimes dreams don't quite pan out, however, i am secure in the fact that i was crazy enough to chase that dream!!! i figure it this way, you only go around once...In this industry i have seen a lot of mediocre work and i have seen some great work. To work in and near the sport of racing is no easy task. You need a real thick skin and real high boots sometimes, but,  i survived and still paint now and again....
